Are Aglaia products sustainable?

Aglaia is committed to environmental responsibility using recycled gold and silver during the casting process in NYC or fairmined gold, avoiding an enormous amount of new pollution and contaminated water. Stones and pearls are ethically sourced. Our packaging is sustainable, too.

Aglaia is always opting, where possible, for low impact and environmentally conscious practices.

Are Aglaia products handmade? Are they made in the US?

Yes! Aglaia was born in Brooklyn, NY and now our products are proudly handmade in the Hudson Valley, NY- USA.

How do I know what is my ring size?

There are different methods to determine your ring size:

cut a piece of paper or a string. Wrap the paper or string around the finger to be sized. Use a pen to mark the string or paper where the long end overlaps. Measure the mark from the end of the length of paper or string with a ruler and match the measurement with the corresponding ring size.

In our website you will find four standard US sizes: 5-6-7-8. If you require a slightly smaller or bigger size please contact us!

How do I take care/clean my Aglaia pieces?

Your jewelry is made to last, however some good habits and care are required in order to keep it looking good.

remove your jewelry during tasks that might ruin it or expose it to chemicals.
cosmetics, perfumes, lotions might damage jewelry so it's better to put jewelry on after applying those.
don't wear your jewelry in swimming pools where there is chlorine.
store your jewelry individually.
remove your jewelry before bathing as soap could cause a film to form.
carefully clean jewelry with a soft cotton cloth, warm water and a small amount of mild detergent.
avoid cleaning damaged jewelry.

What does PRE-ORDER mean?

Aglaia products are made to order (custom made) at the time of purchase. Please allow 3-6 weeks for production. We always do our best to let you enjoy your piece as soon as possible!

Do you offer customized products?

Yes! Please contact us at info@aglaiajewelry.com ! We do offer different material options (22K and 24K Gold, too) and finish options but, unfortunately, we don't accept design customization at the moment.

It is required the full payment of the product to start production and once the piece is ready we will contact you before shipping to confirm address and shipping specifications.

Is my product going to look exactly as the one shown in the website?

Aglaia pieces are handmade and it's likely that they slightly differ one to the other. For this very reason are unique and more precious. Also, we do our best to show in our website images that are the closest to the real piece, although we can't guarantee your device monitor will display colors accurately.

Which countries does Aglaia ships to?

We generally ship within the Unites States only, but if you're interested in purchasing from a different country, please contact us at info@aglaiajewelry.com and we will be happy to discuss shipping methods and costs. Please be aware that, depending on the country of destination and its Custom Department, they might be imports duties, fees or taxes we have no control over as custom policies vary from country to country.

What if my piece break?

Please let us know! If the piece broke because of a fabrication defect, after no more than 14 days from the receiving date, you can return it and we will be happy to refund you or provide a new piece.
